Yesterday i got my a2 licence in one go. Wanted to change from my 50cc scooter to a scooter with more power to get through the busy traffic of Amsterdam easier and safer. Since you are not allowed to ride a scooter on bicycle paths in Amsterdam, but have to take the road where all traffic impatiently follows you, I went looking for a driving school that gives motor scooter driving lessons. I ended up at Hippe. I called the driving school and got Frans the owner and instructor on the line. We made an appointment for a test lesson. For this test lesson Frans takes his time for the rate of a standard lesson. Just extra service. Frans can also get an impression of what kind of person he is dealing with in order to shape his lesson plan according to the person. With Frans, you learn how to drive a motor scooter in all its facets. He explains everything very patiently and is open to questions and gives feedback on the progress of your development. Do not come to him with the idea to be ready for an exam within a few lessons. When Frans thinks you are ready he will tell you so and you can confidently pass the exam most of the time. My lessons with Frans went on and on; not because I was on the scooter for so long but because we had a lot to talk about. In short, I have a great experience with the driving school.
I do not have driving experience by myself, but I saw this company shares the route and tips about the exams. I wish my exam is in Amsterdam, so I can learn from this company. Unfortunatly, i drive in Rijswijk. But I still appreciate very much it sharing the information.
